EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Effective and affordable eco-solutions for a cleaner NZ

Our impact objectives are at the core of our mission. We aim to provide innovative, scientifically proven, and field-tested solutions that are not only cost-effective and affordable but also environmentally sensitive to humans, animals, and the ecosystem.

Reflecting New Zealand's commitment to a "clean, green" environment, our initiatives seek to reduce the leaching of noxious chemicals and waste into our precious lakes, rivers, and waterways.
Furthermore, we strive to recycle waste solids into alternative sources of clean energy and transform contaminated effluent into clean water for recycling. Additionally, our commitment to being fully certified and compliant with New Zealand Standards underscores our dedication to ensuring the highest quality and safety standards across all our endeavours.

The Product

Electrocoagulation is performed by applying an electric current across metal plates that are submerged in water. Heavy metals, organics and inorganics are primarily held in water by electrical charges.

By applying another electrical charge to the contaminated water, the charges that hold the particles together are established and separate from the clean water.

The particles then coagulate to form a mass which can easily be removed. This technology is appealing to environmentally concerned companies as it eliminates the need for chemical or biological additives or demulsifies to deal with wastewater.

MEET THE CEO

Andreas Kurmann

Andreas began his career in Basle, Switzerland, and completed the equivalent of a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. He worked in various laboratories, including micro-biology, phytology, and toxicology, before moving into the water and power economy. He eventually moved to New Zealand and worked for the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, conducting tests for minerals, vitamins, and more. In 1992, he completed his M.Sc. degree in biological sciences, plant physiology, biochemistry, and microbiology through the University of Waikato. After briefly returning to Switzerland, he came back to New Zealand and started the Far North Laboratory for olive growers, before moving on to soil testing for minerals, nutrients, and micro organisms. He also commissioned 3 wastewater plants in the Far North and performed water analysis for 8wastewater plants. In 2010, he built an Ethanol plant to produce natural renewable fertilizer. Andreas installed the first Electrical Coagulation unit into New Zealand to remove water-soluble nutrients from wastewater and cow manure.
