Andreas Kurmann
Andreas began his career in Basle, Switzerland, and completed the equivalent of a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. He worked in various laboratories, including micro-biology, phytology, and toxicology, before moving into the water and power economy. He eventually moved to New Zealand and worked for the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, conducting tests for minerals, vitamins, and more. In 1992, he completed his M.Sc. degree in biological sciences, plant physiology, biochemistry, and microbiology through the University of Waikato. After briefly returning to Switzerland, he came back to New Zealand and started the Far North Laboratory for olive growers, before moving on to soil testing for minerals, nutrients, and micro organisms. He also commissioned 3 wastewater plants in the Far North and performed water analysis for 8wastewater plants. In 2010, he built an Ethanol plant to produce natural renewable fertilizer. Andreas installed the first Electrical Coagulation unit into New Zealand to remove water-soluble nutrients from wastewater and cow manure.
